I also just want to mention our kids fun website - it has been around for a couple of years - www.neveskidz.com we wanted a safe website for our kids to play games and enjoy the internet experience.

It's a new year!!!

Last year was a busy year for our family.
Probably the biggest highlight of the year was our trip to Texas!! We went out over Thanksgiving - it was the funnest 10 days of our lives! Car sickness on the drive out made it really eventful. Especially because it was a 24 hour drive.
We went out boating on Lake Austin with Uncle James and Aunt Andrea and our 5 cousins!! Ate a HUGE Thanksgiving feast, dyed Kayla's hair, permed Kassidy's and mom's hair, went to a San Antonio Spurs Game, went into a haunted house (was really fun), went into Guinness records and went to the ALAMO!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation....
The drive home was much better - we all took car sickness medicine so no one got sick! We made a lot of detours on our drive to catch scenic Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. We stopped at the four corners for "Corney photos" standing on Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
I will post photos soon!

Deer Hunt 2007

One of the many hunts that Cowboy went on
this year was the general deer rifle hunt. Luckily
UEA was at the same time this year, so the
girls and I got to spend some fun time together.

But, it seems like they are shortening the hunts
every year, this one only lasted for 5 days! In the past
they last one week, usually Saturday to Monday so that
you have two weekends to get out and find the deer.
Oh well, what will they change next?

While Cowboy was getting all ready and packing
up, his little cowgals were playing with the two
horses that he was taking with him. The
darker horse is our Mustang - Zach and the
Line back Dun horse is Butch. Most of the
time we have the horses up at the house,
you will find these two little cuties on them bareback!

The girls and I really wanted to go hunting and camping
with their daddy this year, but we weren't able to go.
For sure we will be going next year though!

I thought it would be fun to put some of these
crazy photos up for all to enjoy!
Hope you like!!!!

Mule training.

Cowboy was talking to Gus before the ride,
trying to re-assure him and get him calm.

Cowboy has been training a 3 year old mule -
Gus. This has been a different experience for Cowboy -

Gus is one of a kind!! Luckily on one occasion,
Daisy brought the camera to catch some footage of the
session. What happened - can be seen in these pictures...

~It was the weirdest thing, just as Cowboy
jumped off the mule, the mule went
down~

We aren't quite sure where all
of the buckin' came from - strange!

After all was said and done surprisingly,
Gus realized that Cowboy was the one in
charge and nothing like this has happened since..
To Be Continued....
